Description

This linen postcard features a view from 5,000 feet in the air looking from behind the Washington Memorial toward the Lincoln Memorial and the Potomac River. A white border surrounds the image with the title printed on the top border and Washington, D. C. printed on the lower border.. The number 34552 is printed in black ink in the lower right corner of the image. The reverse is divided in half vertically with descriptive text and space for a message on the left half. The right half is reserved for the address. This postcard was addressed to E. L. Bangs of Baltimore, Maryland, with a brief note from "Wright" on the left side.
