Description

This color postcard features an aerial view of the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site located near Hodgenville, Kentucky. The Lincoln Memorial Building with the fifty-six steps leading to the entrance is seen in the top left area of the postcard. The oval parking area is in the lower right area of the postcard. The site occupies 116 acres of the original Thomas Lincoln farm where Abraham Lincoln was born in February, 1809. The postcard reverse is divided with narrative text printed on the left side.
