Description

This postcard is an advertisement to purchase the book titled "Abraham Lincoln" by John T. Morse, Jr., published by Houghton Mifflin from Tyson's Book Shop in Providence, Rhode Island. President Lincoln's head and shoulders portrait in an oval-cut, oakleaf border is in the center of the postcard. An eagle with wings spread is depicted at the top. The title and author are printed below the portrait. The side edges of the postcard are lined with a laurel leaf border. The postcard reverse is undivided. "Business Reply Card" and the address for Tyson's Book Shop of Providence, Rhode Island, are printed across the width of the postcard.
