Description
This postcard features the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., built to honor Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States. Dedicated in 1922, the building, constructed in the form of a Greek Doric temple, stands opposite of the Washington Memorial on the western end of the National Mall. The entire image is surrounded by a white border with the caption printed in the bottom margin. The postcard reverse is divided.
