Description

This linen postcard features the Illinois State Capitol building in Springfield, Illinois, at night. The image is surrounded by a white border. The caption is printed in the top margin near the right corner. The catalog number 7A-H3811 is printed in the lower right corner of the border. The postcard reverse is divided vertically The building was the Illinois State Capitol from 1840 to 1876 which included the Supreme Court Chambers where Abraham Lincoln argued approximately two hundred cases.
