Description

This postcard features the statue by sculptor Lily Tolpo depicting Abraham Lincoln debating Stephen Douglas at Freeport, Illinois, on August 27, 1858. The statue was done to commemorate the 134th anniversary of the Lincoln-Douglas debate there in 1992. This was the second of seven Illinois debates. The postcard reverse is divided.
