Description

This tinted postcard features the Urbana Lincoln Hotel which was built in 1923 in Urbana, Illinois. Built in a European style, the hotel was intended to be more of a monument to attract tourists. The scene depicted includes several people on the sidwalk in front of the main entrance and three automobiles on the streets. The caption is printed in the upper left corner of the image. A white border surrounds the image. The postcard reverse is divided. The number 27970N is printed along the top edge near the stamp placement block.
