Description

This tinted postcard depicts the David Wills House where President Lincoln finished writing his Gettysburg Address on November 18, 1863, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. A horse and buggy are depicted stopped in front of the door. Two people are depicted on the steps and a woman and two children are shown coming around the corner of the house. A white border surrounds the image with the caption printed in the lower margin. The postcard reverse is divided with narrative text printed on the left side.
