Description

This color postcard features the twin parlors in the Mary Todd Lincoln House located in Lexington, Kentucky. They were the setting for entertaining prominent people of the time such as stateman Henry Clay. Mary Todd who lived in the house from 1832 to 1839 became the wife of Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth president of the United States.
