Description

This postcard features a view from the opposite side of the Tidal Basin from the Lincoln Memorial located in Potomac Park on the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, D. C. Japanese Cherry trees in full bloom are in the foreground on each side with the Lincoln Memorial building in the distance in the upper center of the post card with several trees in front of it. The image is surrounded by a 3/16 inch white border. The title is printed in the top margin. The reverse of the postcard is divided in half with a vertical blue line above the words printed vertically reading "Tichnor Quality Views." The number 114198 is printed to the right of the top of the line. The printing at the top of the left half reads "This space for writing messages."
