Description
This postcard features an illustration done from a photograph taken of Tad Lincoln seated on his pony posed on a Washington street on November 16, 1863. His father, President Abraham Lincoln, was added to the illustration. Grass in the illustration replaced the mud of the Washington street in the in the original photograph. The caption is printed in the margin below the image. The postcard reverse is divided. Narrative text titled "The Lincoln 'Tad' Souvenir, the Only One of the Kind in the World" is printed on the left.
