Description

This color postcard features a reproduction of the Kurz and Allison print of the largest battle in the Civil War fought west of the Mississippi River. Indians from Arkansas can be seen fighting with the Confederate soldiers. The postcard reverse is divided. Narrative text is printed on the left side. A handwritten note in black ink from Jerome Harman of Rogers, Arkansas, to the Louis A. Warren Lincoln Library and Museum, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is also on the left side.
