Description

This color postcard features and illustration of President Abraham Lincoln meeting with General McClellan, Commander of the Army of the Potomac. The Union Army of 140,000 was camped at the Berkeley Plantation in July and August of 1862. Many soldiers and tents are depicted in the background. The postcard reverse is divided. Narrative text is printed on the left side. The number 118866 is printed along the bottom edge near the middle.
