- Handwritten letter, 18 cm, on letterhead of Isham, Lincoln & Beale, Honore Buildings, Chicago, dated February 18, 1889, and signed by Robert T. Lincoln. Lincoln replies to a request for a letter of his father's. Lincoln says that he doesn't have one but that there are plenty of such letters. "If a signature cut from a cancelled check will do any good, I can give you that."
