- Typewritten letter, 20 cm, on The Pullman Palace Car Company, Office of the President, Chicago letterhead, addressed to Hon. W.H.H. Miller, Union Trust Building, Indianapolis, Ind. signed by Robert T. Lincoln. Lincoln responds to Miller's letter of recommendation for Ambrose Hamlin for appointment as a conductor for Pullman. He details the practice for hiring conductors and states that they have asked Hamlin to present a formal application.
