Description

This commemorative celluloid pinback button features a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from an engraving of him by William Edgar Marshall published in 1866. The portrait is printed in blue ink with "Lincoln National Life" printed in red ink above along the edge and "Fort Wayne Ind" printed in red ink below along the bottom edge. "Bastian Bros. Co., Rochester, New York, Mfr's of ribbon, metal, and celluloid novelties" is printed in blue ink on a paper insert on the reverse.
