Description

This is a black silk faille umbrella. The crook handle, which is made out of wood but is painted brown, is attached to the wooden tube, which is also painted brown. attached to the tube are the bottom and top springs, which are made of metal, and the metal runner. The runner has seven stretchers attached to it, which open the umbrella and connect to the ribs. The ribs hold the fabric down and help stablilze the umbrella. There is a tie with a button attached on the outside of the umbrella to wrap it up for storage. There are also two tassles attached just above the handle.
