Description

Broadside calls for the reward and capture of the murderer of President Abraham Lincoln. Large print dominates the top of the elongated poster, with smaller, heavier text toward the bottom. The document is frayed along the edges, with some type missing from the top. The print reads, "War Department Washing[ton] [Ap]ril 20, 1865. $100,000 Reward, The Murderer of our late beloved President, Abraham Lincoln is still at large...$50,000 Reward...$25,000 Reward...for John H.
