Description
Round brass 1860 campaign ferrotype features a centered tintype portrait of Stephen Douglas who wears a dark jacket and bow tie. The portrait is surrounded by raised braided trim. The subject's name is printed in the surrounding border as well as "1860". On each side of "1860" are three roses. The reverse is identical except it features a tintype portrait of Herschel Johnson. His name is printed in the surrounding border as well as "1860" and the three roses that surround each side. The top is pierced with a hole.
