Description

This lithograph features a head and shoulders portrait of a beardless Abraham Lincoln done after a portrait from life by Charles Alfred Barry in early July of 1860 in Springfield, Illinois. He is shown wearing a white shirt, black coat, vest, and bow tie and is facing toward the viewer's right. A facsimile inscription is printed below the image: "Yours truly, A. Lincoln."
