Description

This round bronze-painted plaster plaque with raised rim features a bas relief bust of President Abraham Lincoln done after a photograph taken of him on February 9, 1864, in Washington, D. C. He is shown wearing a coat, bow tie, and a collared shirt and facing slightly toward the viewer's right. The sculptor's name and location are stamped in faded blue ink at the top of the reverse with the name also handwritten in red ink above.
