Description

Blue silk fraternal ribbon stamped with gold text. "Abe Lincoln Command No. 6, U.V.U., Dep't. Potomac, Washington, D.C., 1892" is stamped on the body of the ribbon. Gold fringe runs across the bottom edge. A gold bar with a pinback runs across the top of the ribbon. A short white silk ribbon is attached to the bar and drapes over the top of the blue ribbon; an ovular portrait of Abraham Lincoln is stamped in black ink on the white ribbon. The maker's name and location is taped to the reverse. Part of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, courtesy of the Indiana State Museum
