Description

Abraham Lincoln pendant features a tintype portrait of the President sitting in a three-quarter profile pose and wearing a dark suit jacket, white shirt, and dark bow tie. Lincoln is pictured with a beard and wears his hair combed back off his forehead. The portrait is encased in a gilt metal frame with decorative scrollwork around the edges and a metal ring attached at the top. The portrait is backed by a slip of pink paper with black text that reads: "Abraham Lincoln; President of the United States. Firm to maintain and defend the Union. Abbott & Co., 143 Nassau St., N.Y."
