Description

Republican State Convention delegate's badge features a light blue silk ribbon stamped with gold text and with an attached round medallion. A gold-colored scrolled bar runs across the top of the ribbon and features a white paper label that reads "Delegate"; a safety pin is attached to the back of the bar. The ribbon reads, "Republican State Convention, Des Moines, March 18, 1908." The dangling medallion features portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt with the years "1860 and 1908." Two red, white, and blue American flags are featured on the reverse of the medallion. The maker's information can be found on the reverse.
