Description

Round brass campaign ferrotype features a centered tintype portrait of President Abraham Lincoln who wears a dark jacket and bow tie. Above the portrait is "A. Lincoln". The portrait is surrounded by a brass border which contains thirty two stars and "1861". The reverse side is identical except it features an almost unrecognizable figure due to the condition of the tintype. The portrait looks to be Andrew Johnson. The portrait is surrounded by the same brass border which contains thirty two stars. Also in the border is "2. 1861" and "PAT APR". The top is pierced with a hole and a metal ring is inside the hole.
