Description

Round brass campaign button features a centered tintype portrait of Abraham Lincoln on one side and the incorrect running mate Herschel V. Johnson on the reverse side. Lincoln wears a dark jacket and a bow tie and above his portrait are the words "A. Lincoln, 1864." Herschel Johnson also wears a dark jacket and bow tie and above his portrait are the words "Herschel V. Johnson." A red velvet border encircles the button.
