Description
A black folder titled "Mint Sheet File" holds 25 different postage stamp sheets from other countries related to President Abraham Lincoln. The stamp sheets are housed in glassine sleeves bound together at the fold line of the folder. Some of the stamp sheets commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation in 1963 while others are in commemoration of the sesquicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln in 1959, and still a few more commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Abraham Lincoln in 1965. The countries represented by the stamp sheets are Republique Togolaise, Royaume du Burundi, Ghana, Argentina, Republic of China, Honduras, Liberia, Republique of Niger, Republique du Mali, Central African Republic, Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the Republic of Cameroon.
