Description

Ink jar is a ceramic bottle that features speckled walnut-colored glaze, a short neck, and a short pouring spout. A makers label is engraved on the front and reads: "Vitreous Stone Bottles. J. Bourne & Son. Patentees Dene Pottery. Near Derby. P. & J. Arnold. London. England." A black wooden plug is pushed inside the bottle. A piece of masking tape is adhered to the bottom and reads, "Lincoln & Herndon Law Office."
