Description

a) Vinyl Mary Todd Lincoln doll features brown silk saran hair parted down the center and pinned up with three cascading curls, blue eyes that open and close, and black plastic eyelashes. The doll's arms and legs are moveable at the shoulder and hip joints. The doll is dressed in a purple velvet dress, a replica of the one she wore to the New Year's Day reception at the White House in 1864. "1985, Suzanne Gibson" is engraved on the back of the doll's neck. b) Royal purple velvet bodice features white piping, a large white and black lace ruffle that trims the neckline and covers most of the chest, lace elbow-length sleeves, and a center front point at the waist. c) The full royal purple velvet skirt features white piping and a black silk satin waistband. d) White cotton hoop petticoat with lace trim. e) White cotton chemise. f) White cotton drawers with lace trim. g-h) White cotton knit stockings. i-j) Bright pink garters. k-l) Black leather ankle boots with three pearl buttons. m) Pink and purple floral sprig hair adornment.
