Description
This commemorative pinback button features a head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on November 8, 1863, in Washington, D. C. He is shown wearing a black coat, vest, and bow tie against a gold-colored background. On the reverse a paper insert reads "Bastian Bros. Co., Rochester, New York, Mfr's of ribbon, metal, and celluloid novelties" with the lettering encircling a union logo.
