Description

White, fluted salad plate features gold trim around outer edge and inner depression. The back has the undermark "Limoges France" printed in green and the decorator mark of a bell with the letters T. V. inside it and the banner below with the words "French La Cloche China." Washington D.C. Part of a set of dinnerware purchased by Robert Todd Lincoln probably during his term as president of the Pullman Palace Car Company, 1901-1911.
