Description

White silk campaign ribbon for Abraham Lincoln, the Republican candidate in the 1860 presidential election. All text and the image are stamped in black. The text near the top edge of the ribbon reads, "The Rail Splitter of 1830." At the center of the ribbon is an image of a beardless Abraham Lincoln in a black coat and bow tie.
