Description
The black vinyl binder contains 24 leaves with two 4-1/4 inch by 6 inch commemorative postcards attached to one side of each of 18 leaves, one leaf of introductory text, and five blank leaves each with only a reproduction of the Lincoln Heritage Trial medallion at the top. The introductory text gives a brief description of the Lincoln Heritage Trail. Each commemorative card depicts a specific Abraham Lincoln shrine or site in photographic clarity with headings, text, and decorative material included. Each card has one or more Lincoln-related postage stamps in the upper right corner. Near the stamps is a post mark from the post office in the location of the site dated February 12, 1967. An outline of the shape of the state in which the site is located, Kentucky, Illinois, or Indiana, is also on the post card. An information sheet from Keepsake Press about the Lincoln Heritage Trail commemorative covers is laid on top of the first leaf. It states that this set is one of a limited edition of 200 copies.
