Description
This is a commemorative ribbon made out of white silk. The words "Union League of Rhode Island, In Memory of our Departed Brother, Abraham Lincoln" are printed in black lettering at the top, as well as a black eagle. An image of a woman in a dress leaning against an anchor is printed at the bottom. "Eulogy by WM. Lloyd Garrison, June 1st, 1865" is written in black lettering below the woman. There are tiny tassels on the left and right sides of the ribbon. There is also a small decorative piece of silk on the right side. This ribbon is attached to mat board and stored in a mylar sleeve.
