Description
Cotton linen Lincoln and Johnson campaign banner used in the 1864 presidential campaign. One side is blue with gold and black lettering that reads "Lincoln and Johnson." The reverse side is white with gold, red, and blue letters that read "Hooper Guard, North Chelsea." At the top of the banner is a plastic hanging rod. President Abraham Lincoln and vice presidential candidate Andrew Johnson were the Republican Party candidates in 1864.
