Description
Round brass George B. McClellan button features a centered tintype portrait of McClellan who wears a dark double-breasted military jacket with epaulets. "McClellan" is printed in black above the subject's head. The portrait is rectangular with rounded corners and is surrounded by raised braided trim. A ring of stars and "Pat. Apr. 2, 1861" are embossed around the portrait. Raised braided trim encircles the button. The top is pierced with a hole. There is no backing on the reverse.
