Description
This commemorative celluloid pinback button features a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from a photograph taken of him on February 9, 1864, in Washington, D. C. The portrait is printed in black ink with "Lincoln National Life Insurance Co." printed in red ink above along the edge and "Fort Wayne, Ind" printed in red ink below along the bottom edge. "Pat'd, 1902; Pat'd 1904, Colso Novelty Co., 696 N. High Street, Columbus, O" is printed in blue ink on a paper insert on the reverse.
