Description
This print is a playbill for Ford's Theatre in Washington, D. C., advertising the performance of the military drama "Three Guardsmen!" on July 2, 1864. Besides the title of the play and a list of the actors portraying the characters in the play, the playbill also states that July 2nd is the "Last night but one of the Season." Near the bottom of the playbill, Monday, July 4th is listed as the last night of the season. In addition to the performance of the "Three Guardsmen!" that day the Foster Brothers will appear in the pantomime of the "Magic Trumpet."
