Description

Round brass 1864 campaign ferrotype features a tintype portrait of President Abraham Lincoln who wears a dark jacket, bow tie, and white shirt. His name is printed above his head. A raised, braided trim directly surrounds the portrait while an outer frame contains thirty-two stars as well as "2 1861" and "PAT APR". The reverse is identical except it contains a rectangular tintype portrait of Andrew Johnson. His name is also printed above his head. The top of the button is pierced with a hole.
