Description

This 15.5 mm seated Liberty half dime features Liberty sitting on a rock holding in her right hand a shield with the word "Liberty" on it and a pole with a liberty cap on the top in her left hand on the obverse. The reverse features an open wreath of various types of leaves surrounding the words "Half Dime." This is one of sixteen different coins that were minted and placed into circulation during the administration of President Abraham Lincoln.
