Description
This poster printed with gold-colored ink on a black background features a reproduction of a lithograph by Walter Beach Humphrey of the Lincoln Memorial statue in Washington, D. C., with a senior man holding a cane in his left hand with his right hand touching the shoulder of a young school-age boy gazing up at the statue. The print titled "The American Way" is attached to the poster at the top within a printed rectangular frame. The company name and office addresses are printed beneath with the 12 calendar pages for 1951 stapled to the poster below. The company motto is printed between the calendar pages and the bottom edge. A gold-colored border outlines the edges of the poster. A thin black rope is threaded through two holes centered just below the top edge border and tied for hanging.
