Description
This color print is the front cover of the Historical Art Calendar for 1937. A head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln in an oval border surrounded by olive branches is featured against a background of a partially cloudy blue sky. A banner with the name Abraham Lincoln is placed at the bottom edge of the portrait. Also below the portrait is an illustration of a log cabin set in a clearing with tree stumps and a stream in the foreground. Evergreen and broadleaf trees are in the background with some of the leaves turned to reds and yellows. The title of the calendar is printed above the portrait.
