xThis print is a reproduction of the original artwork by F. B. Perkins of Elgin, Illinois, featuring military scenes related to Corinth, Mississippi, in 1863 where he was a member of the 52nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry. In this collage of scenes, the largest is in the center of the print titled "1863 Corinth" which shows several cabins and dormitory type buildings. Clockwise from the top left the eight scenes around the center are titled "2nd Iowa Vol. Inft. (Winter Quarters)"; "52 Ill. Vol. Inft."; "66th Ind. Vol. Inft."; "HD Qrs. 2nd Div. 16th Army Corps, G. M. Dodge, Brig. Gen. Comdg."; "Officers Quarters, 81st Ohio"; "50th Ill. Vol. Inft."; "Contrabands Enlisting"; and "Corona Fem. College, now Hospital 1st Brig. 2nd Div., 16th Army Corps."
