Description
This print features the text of President Abraham Lincoln's speech given at the dedication of the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1863. Above the text is a small illustration of the eagle from the Great Seal of the United States. The text of the speech is printed in calligraphic font. In the lower left corner of the sheet is a small illustration of Augustus St. Gauden's statue of President Lincoln located in Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois. In the lower right corner is an etching of Lincoln's birthplace cabin. In the center of the lower margin is the title, "Lincoln at Gettysburg: Address delivered by Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States on the field of Gettysburg, November 19th 1863."
