Description
This print features on the viewer's left an illustration by Norman Rockwell of President Abraham Lincoln delivering his Gettysburg Address speech at the dedication of the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1863. Lincoln is shown wearing eyeglasses with his speech in hand standing between a flag pole and a small table on which a pitcher and a glass have been placed. Several people, including Edward Everett the other speaker, are shown seated behind Lincoln. To the viewer's right of the illustration is the printed text of Lincoln's speech with a facsimile signature at the end on a tan background.
