This poster announced the "Lincoln and the American Political Tradition" exhibit created by the John Hay Library and John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library at Brown University which was on view there from May 1 through August 31, 1984. The poster features a large photographic reproduction of the framed Peter Baumgras portrait of President Abraham Lincoln done from life in 1865.
