Description
This black and white photograph features the full-length bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln sculpted by Clarence A. Shaler and dedicated at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, in 1939. The sculptor portrayed a young Lincoln at the beginning of his law career standing beside the trunk of a tree with a missing top.
