Description
This poster, one of the World War II era American propaganda posters, features an illustration of a family along with an African American man huddled together in fear. They all appear to be surrounded by a dark, shadowy figure holding a whip looming over them. The figure is probably meant to bring Adolph Hitler to the viewer's mind. At the top of the poster is a quotation intended to sound similar to phrases from Abraham Lincoln's "House Divided" speech given on June 16, 1858, at the end of the Republican State Convention in Springfield, Illinois. The title is printed in the lower margin. The publisher's information is centered just above the lower edge of the poster.
