Description

This poster features the head and shoulders portrait of President Abraham Lincoln originally sculpted by Julia M. Bracken in 1900. Lincoln is shown facing slightly toward the viewer's right wearing a frock coat, waist coat, collared shirt, and bow tie. Above his head is a quotation from President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, "This nation under God shall have a new birth in freedom and the government of the people by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth." A plaque with the name "Lincoln" is at the bottom edge of the print with the publisher's information on both sides.
