Description

This 1941 calendar features a large hand-colored photograph of the Abraham Lincoln family home in Springfield, Illinois. The photograph is pasted to a light tan sheet of heavy stock. A slightly smaller textured royal blue window mat is pasted to the backing sheet so that the photograph shows in the window framed with a silver-colored, decorative, rectangular border. The company name and information are printed in silver-colored ink in the viewer's upper left corner. A small blue rope tie has been looped through two holes in the center top margin with the ends tied into a bow. A small 12-page, monthly calendar with a matching blue cover is stapled in the center of the bottom margin. A small information sheet on the Lincoln Home is pasted on the reverse and folded over the top edge to show on the obverse in the upper right corner.
